5 hugs


Hi Friends! :) Sorry for not updating every week. You know all why :D And I thank you for all those comments/reactions about my last post. If only you knew how bless I am upon hearing those kind of words, like thanking me that you learned something from me, that makes me smile and be blessed :) So here I am again, sharing the words of God to all of you. I hope you can learn something from it again and may you obey what the Lord wants you to do :)

First I'll be sharing to you the first 3 out of 7 Habits of Highly Effective Disciples:

1. Quiet Time- This is our date with God. The time when we pray. And we should remember these things:

• S- Start praying in the morning
• T- Thank Him and praise him
• A- Ask for forgiveness and Ask to meet your needs
• R- Read the Bible
• T- Trust that your prayers will be answered :)
  

*Remember that when we ask something, we should be specific enough. :)

2. Fellowship- Converging to our co-Christians. experience life together and express love together. How to express fellowship:

• Connection- make friends
• Commitment- be committed to God
• Consistency- Love is spelled "T.I.M.E." Spend time to the Lord
• Contribution- share both tangible and intangible things :)
  

3. Witnessing- Connecting to change the lives of others by sharing with them the Good News of the Lord. And remember that you should not choose people to whom you will share the Word. Why witness?

• a. To follow God's heartbeat- to save souls
• b. To fulfill the great commission- To make Jesus famous and to share our salvation

Next, I'll share to you the Word a while ago at the YouthGig. I'm just hoping that YouthGig can happen everyday :D I just love YouthGig so much :)

Relax! God will fight the battle.

God's grace is already in the title. RELAX! GOD will FIGHT the BATTLE for you. According to Exodus 14:14, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."
The Pastor said that, "You did your best, let God do the rest." Be still and trust Him that He will never leave you.

The topic has 3 points:

• Be a wrestler in Prayer- Always pray for everyone especially for your enemies. "You have to remain trusting" Trust in the Lord that He will guide you in everything that you'll do when you pray.

-When somebody hurts you, don't hate him/her..PRAY FOR THAT PERSON.
-Don't get bitter to anyone. PRAY.

• Wait until you get a word- Word from God never fails. Your word guides you throughout your life. "God gave the word to you and not to them." So believe in your word because that word came from Him and you will never be disappointed. "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away."--Mark 13:31 " According to Joshua 1:9, "Be strong and of good courage;do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

• Worship while at war- 2 Chronicles 20:20-22 In times of difficulties, worship Him and you will be saved. See how great is our God? He's the one who's fighting for our battles. :)

RELAX. BE STILL. STAY CALM.

So last June 26, we attended the Youth GIG and we enjoyed every single second. I am so regretful that I only attended the GIG now. When my friends keep on inviting me every now and then. But as they say, God has a purpose for everything. He has a purpose why He brought me there at that time. ^^

Every after gig, we feel so blessed. Very grateful for all the grace we have received. There, you can really feel the presence of the Lord. :)

So a while ago, we attended the GIG and I wanna share the word to all of you. Here it goes:

The Significant Life

We sometimes tell ourselves that we are ugly or useless. Or maybe, someone said those things to us. Tell them that you’re beautiful because you are made in Heaven and you are made by the image and likeness of God. That’s why before anything else, before anyone told you those things, you are significant! It is because of Him who made you.

• You are significant because God said so. No question for that.
• God created man
• We are made in Heaven
• When God made us, it was very good.

How to preserve our significance?

Preserve your significance via OBEDIENCE

• When disobedience strikes, we lose our significance
• Sin draws away form God

“The reason why you are alive is because you are doing what God wants you to do”

One way on how we can obey Him, is to make disciples. Sharing Jesus to others. And that’s our goal. To make other people be close to Him.

We are asked: “where are you now?” We know that we made something wrong that made us away from Him. That’s why we restored our life to be with Him again because we are happy being with Him. :)

“Restore your significance by coming back to the will of God”

I just want to share it to all of you because God said that I should obey Him by sharing His words :) And I got the His Life baller now. It should be glow-in-the-dark but now, it’s simply transparent with black fonts :D “LOVE GOD. MAKE DISCIPLES. IMPACT OUR WORLD” will show you a picture of it when I have time.

I just want to add, we are like a piece of puzzle that was remove from the other pieces because we have committed a sin and we can go back by restoring our life and come back to the will of God.

The day we attended the GIG, we had our Life Group. And of course, our LG leader. He loves to smile and that make us smile too. We had our LG last Tuesday and we even celebrated his birthday. Belated birthday because it's actually last Monday. We learned alot and one thing we learned was this:

• Watch your thoughts, they become words
• Watch your words, they become actions
• Watch your actions, they become your habit
• Watch your habit, it will be your destiny

Another blessed day that day. Actually, everyday is a blessed day :) And now, we are excited for our next LG ;)

Hey guys! It's Ailu. how are you doin'? :)
what can I say? hmm...


A net-a-holic, camerawhore, and an ecstatic pinay. :) Blogging since May 2009. Out of curiosity, I decided to make a blog(a personal blog) where I can rant about some personal stuffs. I'm a random person and that makes my posts random too.

Yes, I'm a net-a-holic person. I can say that I can't live without the net but I can live without my phone, I think so. :) I love discovering things online and I hope most of those THINGS can make me a better person. (What am I saying? ugh! :D)

Camerawhore. As most teens are, I'm one of those "pose then click" girl out there. Who loves taking pictures of oneself and posting it on a social-networking site. Yeah, I'm one of them. I'm not only fun of taking picture of myself but also about interesting things. If you don't know, I'm a photographer wannabe. I'm not really good in taking a picture but I wanna learn how to improve my skills in photography. Mind if you teach me? :D

Ecstatic Pinay. Since I'm a Filipina, living in a wonderful place of Pampanga, it's normal to be a happy person all the time. Inspite of some difficulties in life, we Filipinos can overcome this and be happy at the same time. Like me, it's better to smile than to frown because it makes me ecstatic :)

Did you know that I love Taylor Swift, Kris Allen, and Logan Lerman? Yeah, I LOVE them. Plus Robi Domingo, James Reid, and Chris Tiu. Filipino pride :D No wonder why I love all of them. They all have that "charisma" power that makes me weak all the time. Taylor and Kris Allen's voices are so relaxing and their songs are just so uh-mazing!
